Outside of work, I’m a husband, father, Army veteran, and lifelong student of leadership, legacy, and strategy. Whether I’m mentoring future cybersecurity leaders or spending time with my family, my focus remains the same — leave every room, every business, and every person better than I found them.”
On a Personal Note
- I’m from the Silicon Valley, East Palo Alto California, but I grew up in Mexia, Texas. I read a minimum of 12 books a year. I have competed in physique bodybuilding shows, I have modeled, and have even done a little acting.

With many years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, I’ve built my career on a foundation of relentless curiosity, strategic problem-solving, and precision execution. My expertise spans both offensive and defensive security domains, with a deep focus on penetration testing, red team operations, and modern network defense strategies. I bring a threat-informed mindset to every engagement, driven to understand, outpace, and outsmart adversaries.
Throughout my professional journey, I’ve engineered secure and scalable network environments using advanced VLAN segmentation, deployed hardened Next-Gen firewalls, and integrated virtual private networks along with Active Directory hardening to ensure maximum security.
For a personal project I’ve also developed a fully modular AI-driven assistant designed to automate reconnaissance, monitor network activity, manage VPN operations, and provide real-time threat response—bridging cutting-edge technology with practical cybersecurity defense.
I consistently sharpen my skills through active participation in competitive cybersecurity events, most recently the TryHackMe Hackfinity Battle, where I assessed critical vulnerabilities in web exploitation, privilege escalation, OSINT, and real-time threat analysis under pressure. These experiences not only deepened my technical toolkit but also reinforced my adaptability and strategic thinking in dynamic threat environments.
Whether leading simulated breaches, automating security operations, or architecting layered defenses, I bring a forward-thinking approach grounded in practical expertise and a passion for continuous improvement. I don’t just respond to threats, I prepare for them.
On a Personal Note
- I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. Though Austin is home, I spend a lot of time in Colorado with family, so you could say I’ve got the best of both worlds.
- I’ve always had a deep love for tech, sparked by my passion for gaming. Titles like God of War and CS:GO pulled me in early, and that curiosity naturally grew into a broader interest in software and emerging technology.
- When I’m not diving into tech or gaming, you’ll probably find me exploring new foodie spots around town, playing poker at local card houses, or skateboarding for fun and fitness.
- My latest interest is researching hologram tech.
